This painting is a bit larger, 18×22, I think. I found a photograph of two horses in this type of pose and something about it was vey compelling to me. I have been wanting to paint from that inspiration for months. I called this “Redeemed.” I listened to my JJ playlist (Jesus Jams. For real, that is the name of that playlist. Contemporary Christian, if you had not guessed.) One song, “Difference Maker” was the musical inspiration for this, and I listened to it many times.

When we are weary He takes our load. To do that, we must allow Him to come close, and we must let go of the burden. At that moment we are redeemed…again.
