I loved, loved, loved spending time with these birds. This is colored pencil on watercolor paper and at the last minute I added the “Faith, Hope & Love” (truly “Birds of a Feather”) scrap of paper to it…just seemed to fit. I had this framed in my studio for a few weeks and one day a lady saw it through the window and wanted to buy it. Honestly, I had not thought of selling, but I could tell she really loved the birds themselves, not just the art, so I let them go. I miss them, but I am glad I was able to get a good photo.
